Poetry: Jehovah's Perfect Servant

With steady pace we see Him trace,
In meek humility,

The path which God had planned for Him,
In an eternity.

His ready ear was opened here,
In great expectancy,

Each morn to hear Jehovah speak;
Even from infancy.

His gracious talk and holy walk,
In sweet consistency,

Fulfilled all that was written of Him
In holy prophecy.

His every breath and shameful death,
In untold agony,

Were consecrated to God's will
In its entirety.
