N. IRELAND

Co. ANTRIM

Ballyclare: J Stubbs is to have ministry meetings with the assembly from 23rd-27th February.

Ballymena (Cambridge Avenue): The assembly hosted the Ayrshire Bible Exhibition from 2nd-6th February. There was very good interest from local schools.

Ballymena (Harryville): Gospel Meetings are to commence on 22nd February. Speakers: J Rodgers, R Reynolds. Prayer would be appreciated.

Broughshane: J Allen had ministry meetings from 2nd-6th February.

Buckna: D Gilliland is to conduct Bible Readings from 23rd-27th February considering the book of Malachi.

Clough: P Coulson had ministry meetings from 16th-19th February.

Glengormley: D Gilliland had ministry meetings from 19th-23rd January.

Kingsmoss (New Hall). Gospel meetings are to commence on 1st March with W Fenton and P McCauley.

Co. ARMAGH

Killylea: A farmer’s hall has been rented here by the assembly at Drumacanver for gospel meetings. The meetings commenced in mid January with D McGarvey and J Bingham as the preachers.

Kilmore Gospel Hall: A gospel series commenced here on 11th January with W J Nesbitt and his son Andrew. The meetings are continuing with interest and blessing.

Portadown Gospel Hall: A Davidson and B Glendinning commenced gospel meetings at the beginning of February.

Co. DOWN

Castlewellan: Gospel meetings are being conducted by T Wright and K Newell, and are continuing at the beginning of February.

Killyleagh Gospel Hall: A prayerful support would be appreciated for gospel meetings which commenced here on 26th January with J Palmer and A McKee.

Newry: On 6th February J Rogers and M Radcliffe concluded 4 weeks of gospel meetings convened in a hotel. The venue proved very suitable, and the interest was most encouraging with many locals attending and some expressing desires to be saved. The coming Day no doubt will reveal what God hath wrought.

Co. TYRONE

Dunamana: R Pickering concluded 4 weeks of gospel preaching at the end of 2008. The village and surrounding areas were well visited with invitations and tracts. Some locals came and heard the gospel faithfully presented.

Newtownstewart Gospel Hall: The annual New Year’s Day Conference was profitable, with over 500 in attendance. The Bible Reading was conducted by D Gilliland. The ministry was given by S Nelson, W J Nesbitt, S McBride, D Gilliland, and J G Hutchinson.

Fintona: A Wilson had a week of well-attended ministry meetings in mid December.

BELFAST AREA

Newtownbreda Gospel Hall: 456 children plus teachers and assistants from 8 local schools visited the Ayrshire Bible Exhibition in January. The response of both children and teachers was very enthusiastic. R Plant, with local believers, followed up by taking school assemblies and this was well received. The Exhibition was also followed by a week of children’s meetings taken by R Plant.

Lower Windsor Gospel Hall: J Martin and W Martin commenced a series of gospel meetings on 1st February. Many university students live in this area. Please pray that some of them will be constrained to come and hear the life giving message.

Bloomfield Gospel Hall: D Gilliland had 4 evenings of very profitable ministry in mid January on "The Resources for Christian Living". The assembly expect (God willing) to have M Radcliffe for ministry from 30th March to 3rd April.

Co. MONAGHAN

Erryroe Gospel Hall: The gospel effort which commenced in early January was continuing at the end of the month. This is a border area with a small assembly, and prayer would be valued. Speakers: J Fleck and S Gilfillan.

Co. LONDONDERRY & Co. DONEGAL

Killykergan: B Currie and A Caldwell are in their fourth week of gospel meetings. Quite a number of the Christians’ children are attending, and also a number of adults not accustomed to coming into the hall.
